Jun 15, 2007 · This 1967 Ford C/Boardman 750/1000 pumper for the Midland VFD in Allegany County,MD., was the only Boardman in Allegany Co. and possibly the only Boardman apparatus in Maryland. Since Midland is only 5 miles from my childhood home, I saw a lot of this rig in my youth. It was replaced in 1998 and I do not know of its disposition...

May 1, 2007 · I go up to Vermont a lot, but I think these are my only 2 pics for fire apparatus in VT. These were taken in 8/03. They were both outside the Cornwall Vol. FD and I don't know if either of them were in service at the time. - Scott

Apr 30, 2017 · The USFS has dabbled in several different manufacturers, but BFX is still, for the most part on top. I inquired at the engine academy a few years ago (they send they're people to those events to teach us the in's and outs) as to wether they were going to expand the market for larger apparatus, and they had no interest.

Jan 18, 2007 · Great shots. Just a couple of notes on two of the photos. The 1965 IH/FTI apparatus pictured was assigned to Engine 12 prior to being reassigned to the spare fleet as Engine 265 in 1976. Also, the 1965 Seagrave TDA pictured was formerly assigned to Ladder 7 before being reassigned to Ladder 26 in May of 1977. Thanks for posting the photos. Jack •
