Hi, Orion does not poll custom MIBs except when it is hard coded in the software (e.g. to retrieve an interface name on some CatOS switches).

We had an issue over the weekend with an apc ats switching down all the outlets on all on the device. My question was is there anyway for NPM to monitor not only an APC ATS but also the power outlets to see if they are on or shut down.

When I build this out, I usually follow a a sequence of setting up the source interfaces if needed, creating the group, then building the user within the group and lastly setting the host.

For more detail, one of the pollers looks at which power source an ATS is currently using (A or B). It returns a Numeric Value of 1 for A and 2 for B, which I have mapped to 1="Source A" and 2="Source B".

I have noticed that the Power Control Unit Status widget is no longer displayed for my APC SmartUPS devices after upgrading to version 2022.4. Inertestingly, I discovered that if I remove the "UPS" resource from being polled, the widget displays again.

Oct 26, 2022 · The platform supports APC UPS's natively if you are running them with the management card installed and have SNMP setup on that device. Just add it as you would a regular node and the node details page will adapt to show the new Power Control Unit resources (as shown on this public demo page ).
