I bought some old sheet film backs. A few of them had film in them. A few of those have some film that I was not able to identify in the dark. Then, I sacrificed a sheet, and I cannot identify it in the light either. The edge says "Ansco Safety Film". It has 2 square notch marks that are far apart. I don't even know if it's B&W or color.

Hope this helps.” Thanks for the suggestion that it might be an Ansco film. I found an old film box with the label of GAF Versapan, and the box shows the three square notches for the film code.

In cleaning out my 106 year old mother's house (as she settles into the assisted living facility), I have discovered a cache of my old 9x12 negatives from the 1950s (when I was in High School). Mostly they seem to be labeled "Ansco Safety Film" with two square notches. Was this for ISOPAN? Or what?
