"Why are you so mean to everyone?! (Ani concerned about Greenwood's behavior). Ani is a minor character from Next Gen. She is Mai's and 7723's friend at the beginning of the film, and then Greenwood's friend at the end of the film. She sits behind Mai in Physics class.

Mai Su is the main protagonist of Next Gen. Mai is 13 years old, 159cm tall, and is of chinese descent. She has short purple hair that she shaved on the left side herself.

As everything returns to normal, Mai re-teaches 7723 the pleasures of life and steers him in the right direction, seemingly allowing him to begin to regain his old memories, while befriending classmate Ani, Greenwood and her soccer team, even inviting 7723 to play with them.
