Andrew Harvey (born 3 March 1944) is a British journalist, who over a period of thirty years has presented most of main television news programmes of the BBC and ITN. [1]

Andrew Harvey was Meningitis Now President for 25 years. He stepped down in 2023 and continues to support our work as a Patron. Andrew presented BBC TV News for many years before moving to ITN and now has his own media training company.

Andrew Harvey has spent the last 30 years presenting the main TV news programmes on BBC and ITN. Graham Leach spent 30 years in broadcast news, both studio presenting and reporting from world hot spots. Ann Bird’s 20 year career as a senior journalist has included writing for most UK national newspapers.

Andrew Harvey – presenter on the ITN News Channel with Lucy Alexander; moved on to his own programme after breakfast, Live with Andrew Harvey; Julian Haviland – ITN political editor, 1975–1981, before becoming the political editor for The Times. He died in 2023.
