Anders Hedberg quickly established a reputation throughout professional hockey, almost equalling Hull's stage presence, scoring 53 goals, and winning the WHA Rookie of the Year award in 1974-75. Hedberg was the fourth-highest scorer in the league, trailing only Hull, Serge Bernier and Wayne Rivers.
