As others have stated you're going to be fine, you don't have an amoeba. You probably have a headache from the stress of anxiety of worrying about having an amoeba. I know I get headaches from stress. Neck pain maybe you slept wrong or you're tensing your body up without realizing it. Health anxiety sucks so much.

Especially if you're not experiencing any unusual physical symptoms, the odds that you have an amoeba are so low that they're simply not worth considering.

The odds of brain eating amoeba affliction are extremely rare but not non-existent and the water you describe is a breeding ground for it. Ask if the water is tested for it, take a sample and get it tested if not. 70 degrees seems too cool but I’m certainly no expert. Hypochondria is more extreme neurosis than what you are asking.

Obviously that's a global trend, but I wonder if there's also a shift back towards vinyl, or if Amoeba will go the way of Electric Foetus in MN and be at least half a clothing store in five to ten years.
