We are Alpha MMA, an affiliate of Cavalcanti Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association & Renzo Gracie fight team. Our Master, Ricardo Cavalcanti is a well known 5th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, having earned his black belt under the legendary Carlson Gracie Sr. in 1995.

Tom Sheaf is co-owner of Alpha MMA and a Brazilian jiu jitsu Black belt under Master Ricardo Cavalcanti and a active Professional Mixed Martial Artist and Boxer. Tom has previously fought for Bellator MMA and Bare Knuckle Fighting along with other promotions.

Derek Lemos is owner and head BJJ instructor here at Alpha MMA. A 1st degree Black Belt under Master Ricardo Cavalcanti, Derek's journey began in 2010 as an aspiring mix martial artist. Derek quickly compiled a 2-1 amateur record showing potential for a great future in the sport of MMA.
