As far as I understand, Alicesoft has largely retired. And whole niche of gameplay-heavy VNs is and was on a steady decline for a long time. I doubt we'll see anything on par with Rance or Baldr series. Gacha is a dead end. Imo, nothing good can come out of this monetization model.

I believe that some members within Alicesoft have expressed an interest in continuing the franchise without TADA, so it's possible that Rance could come back one day. For instance, I think a remake of Rance 4 would be perfectly manageable even without TADA.

Alicesoft is one of the best visual novels company in japan and they a have "special" humor that remarks them along their games as well they include rpg mechanics in almost every game like rance series or evenicle. In terms of censorship, they dont care a shit about politics, if they want something, they just put it in.
