Alias is the debut album from the Canadian rock band Alias, released in 1990 by Capitol Records. The single "More Than Words Can Say" reached No. 1 in Canada and No. 2 in the United States. A third single, "Waiting for Love", was released in early 1991 and peaked at No. 13 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Oct 23, 2021 · Alias was a band made up of members of Heart (the ones whose last names weren't Wilson) and Sheriff, including vocalist Freddy Curci, whose smooth voice was made for this kind of music. Sheriff of course had a huge hit a year earlier with (you guessed it) a super-sappy ballad called "When I'm With You".
