Mar 5, 2017 · Definitely one of the more interesting characters in Akira, both comic and anime. EDIT: I'd say he's actually even better in the comic. Never loses his sense of duty in any situation. Basically an effective father to Neo Tokyo all around. Survives that damn explosion too!
