Akaza was the only demon of the Twelve Kizuki who refused to eat or kill women, and was given special permission to do so by Muzan, although he did tease Akaza for his choice and urged him to drop it.

Without demons around, Kyojuro was free to share some heartfelt parting words with Tanjiro's team, inspiring Tanjiro to meet the surviving Rengokus himself. Akaza of Kimetsu no Yaiba is killed by himself at the Infinity Castle Arch. However, Tanjiro Kamado and the Water Hashira, Giyuu Tomioka, weakened him enough that the Upper 3 lost the determination to keep fighting.
