Aug 5, 2022 · We found in this study that vein formation was retarded in TIE1 deficient mice, which showed an increase of vein-associated angiogenic sprouting during embryogenesis as well as in the postnatal retinal vascular development. Loss of TIE1 led to the decrease of TIE2 on the levels of messenger RNA and protein.
