Aeta (also Ayta, Áitâ, Ita, Alta, Arta, Atta, or Agta) is a collective term. Although commonly thought of as a single group, it is in reality composed of several ethnic groups that share similar hunter-gatherer lifestyles and physical features.

Lady Anne Duya made history as the first female Aeta from her tribe to pass the Criminologists Licensure Exam. The results of the exam were released on March 6, 2024. This achievement is not just a personal victory for Lady Anne, but also a significant milestone for her tribe and the Aeta community as a whole.
