Sep 26, 2009 · The ADS L-1530 is a very enjoyable loudspeaker that is rather dynamic as the music presented through these is enjoyable at different volume levels. Beware too small a listening space for rock concert levels....the tweeter is a selenium cobalt rated at 22,000 gauss, which I believe was limited to the 1530 and 1590 models.

Jan 29, 2011 · The 1980 ADS product catalog clearly lists price as $945 each, in walnut veneer cabinets. The massive L2030 was only double that at $1,900 each. This was never a $6K pair of speakers, ever.

May 8, 2017 · Both of my L1530 and L1590/2 speakers have had Richard So rebuilds on the midranges and tweeters, and the L1530s have had major crossover rebuilds and have been rewired as well. Powering these is a freshened McIntosh Mc2205 (200wpc).

Watch this gear and we'll notify you if it becomes available again. This vintage monsters are fully functional and produce a wall of sound. Cosmetically, they do have some dings, but are very presentable. All drivers are working. Only selling because my L1590s fit in my space better. Serious buyers only. Willing to Demo in my garage.

Jun 24, 2024 · Fantastic pair of ADS L1530 floorstanding monitors. Used by recording giants such as TELARC, these speakers do not mess around, but give you crystal clear sound quality and full-spectrum response. Please see pictures for cosmetic condition, but overall, in very good shape.
