Construction on a new million-dollar bridge to carry pedestrians and bicyclists over “The Cut” through Key Largo likely begins this spring. When finished, the span will cross about 120 feet of water at the Marvin D. Adams Waterway at mile marker 103.6.

Adams Cut has heavy boat traffic as for everyone living on the bay side (Blackwater Sound), it is the route to the ocean. You will see pretty continuous vessels, private and commercial using the cut. If you want to catch snapper, grouper, dolphin, etc., you can't do it from Florida Bay Club.
