Feb 1, 2019 · I was looking for active speakers to my bedroom. I listened to Adam T5V, Rokit 5 Gen 4 and JBL LSR305P MKII. Adam sounded the best in just 1 minute of listening. Accurate and balanced on all frequency ranges with good but not overwhelming bass.

Some say the sub will have phase issues, I'd somewhat agree but it's to be expected because it's not part of the speaker and good luck resolving it. What I also determined was the sub is not musical, it's lazy. It lacks power and is unable to fill in what the T5V couldn't go down ...

Aug 7, 2019 · @ppataki, I did a VituixCAD simulation of an estimated version of what a closed-box (blocked vent) version of the Adam Audio T5V loudspeaker might be. The assumption was that the low-frequency alignment would have a Qtc=0.584 with a box resonance frequency of Fc=74.7Hz. The red curve in the plot shown below represents this.

Jan 1, 2024 · ADAM Audio T5V + T10S Subwoofer; ADAM Audio A4V; Paralyzed. I cannot listen to any of these live. Please help me decide. Small office (~6m²), untreated, listening distance will be ~1-1.5m with about 10cm clearance from the back of the speakers to a wall. Max dB listening level will be ~80, with a more frequent listening range of 50-75.

Jun 6, 2019 · According to Amir's review the T5V are only down -3db at 60Hz. In his subjective listening he reported they played very loud with plenty of distortion free base. Adam claim they go as low 45Hz.

May 29, 2021 · - ADAM T5V - KEF X300A In terms of personal taste, I can say that I prefer speakers which are bit more forward in the mids and highs, I don't like warm sounding speakers. In the list I'd say the most balanced speaker would be the Mackies, closely followed by the JBL.
