The Accel Axe (アクセルアックス 爆速斧: "Explosive Speed Axe") is a weapon first introduced in Monster Hunter Explore. The word Accel (アクセル) is a Japanese-made English world, abbreviation of the word Accelerator.

They said that they wanted to use 'Wilds' as an opportunity to expand on current weapons and better realise their "potential". There are 18 types of weapons in the Monster Hunter universe, with one of them (Medium Bowgun) exclusive to the main series, two (Tonfa and Magnet Spike) exclusive to Monster Hunter Frontier Z and one (Accel Axe) exclusive to Monster Hunter Explore.

After service shutdown, there is still no quest Accel Axe for a fire monster. Community content is available under CC-BY-SA unless otherwise noted. Notes: Even though there are weapons with same name at different rarity (E.g. Bone Accel and Bone Accel α), they are independent weapon series that has no connection.

Jun 26, 2024 · The whole premise of the accel axe was that Explore had touch screen controls, and Accel Axe basically gave your UI an overhaul so that you had more control over your weapon with touch controls.

Jan 28, 2021 · So I know a lot of people have made posts talking about how they want Accel Axe back, but I wanted to take the time to fully conceptualize its moveset for a mainline game, since MH Explore had rather limited and simplified movesets, given that it was a mobile game.
