Nov 6, 2020 · Empathy (or lack of) is a decision that crops up on a few occasions throughout the game. This decision ALONE won’t have any drastic impact on your ending. I don't think it has any impact on the game later. I locked him in the armory after saving him, because pea-brain Aaron Ingram kept getting killed by a mediocre phantom that spawns in.

May 4, 2019 · So I started playing today, and came across Aaron in one of the areas. I let him out, but when I walked away, he got murdered by a Typhon and turned into a phantom. I reloaded the save, and tried letting him out at a different time, AND used up all his dialogue, but he just stands outside his cell, waiting for his face to get ripped off by a mimic.
