Just buy a subi in the winter and keep the RSX for FWD turbo/supercharger. Or better, buy a AWD truck for the winter. Best of both worlds. Vehicle for hauling and winter. Sporty turbo to tool around with in the fair weather. AWD would be nice, but that's just a money pit. Use the money for something else more practical.

May 11, 2007 · Clappy is talking about his little toy RSX. I'm sure it'd be possible to convert the RSX to RWD or AWD, but it'd take a good shop, probably a new engine, and more money than it would cost to just buy a RWD or AWD car.

May 27, 2024 · So this is an AWD RSX, it will go backward and forward in gear fine. All 6 gears moves the car and reverse does work too. But when I removed the drive shaft. And put the car on the ground. It doesn’t move forward or reverse, it won’t stall out, but the transfer case for the AWD spins fine. I’m stumped.

Jul 8, 2005 · hey guys i am actually in the market of buying an rsx or an evo, but the evos are a lot more expensive, well i was looking at the brochure and saw that the rsx is a front wheel drive car but it also has the 4 -wheel drive VTM (Variable Torque Management) feature that turns on 4 wheel drive if you are getting enough traction up front.

I am selling it to build a more street-able and daily driver friendly version with electric PS and electric AC(prius), as well as having the entire chassis professionally sound deadened with full interior overhaul on clips n brackets to get rid of rattling and such.

Sep 11, 2006 · I looked at a WRX Impreza while looking at the RSX. I wasn't too into the plain looking gauges in the car, and the interior wasn't very sporty. (*whispers* the sales guy was sleezy too ) However there were the options like HIDs and AWD. But the RSX was simply more aesthetically pleasing to me. Oh.. and about $3,000 cheaper.

Dec 20, 2023 · I drive both a NA Miata and a rsx-s with a LSD. both are really fun it mainly depends on what you want I'm more biased towards rwd as that's what I've been driving the longest but I'm starting to really enjoy fwd. Also with fwd you can easily get the rear the slide out of you know what your doing. The rsx also has imo one of the best engines.
