The student dorms offer furnished rooms, study areas, communal lounges, and recreational spaces. The dorms are not coed but gender-specific by building. You may select a single- or double-occupancy room, each with shared bathrooms.

May 23, 2019 · Zamalek used to be the home of the American University in Cairo’s dorms for almost two decades in a very prestigious and luxurious building called Iconia! The landmark building was originally designed in the late 1980s by renowned architect Amr El Alfy.

While the university still maintains its Zamalek Dormitory with more than 300 students, a total of 445 students live at the New Cairo Campus residences –– 210 males and 235 females.
