The ATB Group, including Morley, Laurence Scott, and ATB Welzheim, is taken over by Wolong. Morley merges with Laurence Scott to form ATB Group UK Ltd, continuing operations under the Wolong Group. Manufacturing of Morley and Laurence Scott products is consolidated into one factory in Norwich, UK.

Wolong Brands
The ATB Welzheim GmbH was founded by Gottlob Bauknecht in 1938 to start electric motors production. ATB motors manufactured by Welzheim and Spielberg plants in Germany range from 56 to 280 frame mainly for pumps, ventilators, agitators or mixers, compressors and mills. ATB Weltzheim, LLC is located in Weltzheim, approximately 40km east of Stuttgart, Germany. The factory was established in 1938 by Gottlob Bauknecht to produce a full range of electric motors. The ATB consists of Austrian and German-driven technology and the initials of the founder's first name.

Chinese company buys Brook Crompton’s parent, ATB, for €100m
Oct 21, 2011 · A Chinese company, Wolong Holdings, is buying almost 98% of the Austrian motor manufacturer ATB for €100.5m after ATB’s parent, A-Tec Industries, got into financial difficulties. ATB has more than 3,000 employees in five European countries, including around 700 in the UK, where it owns Brook Crompton, Laurence Scott and Morley.
