Aug 10, 2015 · A higher ASIC is more efficient and will achieve the same clocks as any other lower ASIC card but at a lower voltage. With the Kingpin, the more volts is meaningless at ambient temps (requires heavy duty sub zero cooling) so the higher ASIC card can achieve better clocks on lower volts, therefore the 'potential' for better OC is there.

Oct 14, 2012 · GPU-Z 0.6.4 shows the ASIC as 100% which it should be for a cherry picked FTW and the fact I can hit 1300mhz/7GHZ stable on stock Air in Heaven Benchmark but I read GPU-Z does not read the GTX 680 properly. Far better than my mid 90's% Asus GTX 580 was and not the best clocker.

Jul 14, 2016 · ASIC quality reading is somewhat flawed to me. supposedly all card's are designed the same. if there is a flaw in the design GPU-Z wont detect/read it. some have cards on high volts and low watercooled temperature. other low volts and bad coolers. but it judges you over volts. somehow this doesn't work for me.
