Apr 26, 2019 · Build you own and get an Armatac drum or two. It only takes pushing two pins to change an upper out, so get 2 and swap them when they get too hot. The options are endless this way. For the money, I would rather have an old Colt LMG upper than the IAR.

Not looking to buy any upper that’ll cost 5 grand like the colt lmg or fight light. Previous posts recommended this from PSA for its barrel.

Jul 7, 2016 · Why not just but a real Colt LMG upper off GB and use a standard auto carrier and call it a day? It will work just like any other upper in the closed bolt. +1. Pretty much every part is LMG-specific, and either expensive or made from unobtainium.
