Apr 6, 2012 · The only way id stick an extra mag on the gun is a duel magazine clamp. I keep a 20 round pmag on my stock. I like it because every time I grab the rifle there are two mags, more ammo and a second mag for malfunction clearances.

Nov 4, 2015 · I'm a cheap SOB. I picked up a few of the green ChiCom 5-cell AK canvas mag pouches w/shoulder strap for $15/ea years ago then added a little closed-cell foam to the bottom of the mag cells to raise my AR mags high enough to grasp.

Jul 9, 2018 · Guy I work with has an AR pouch on his belt but it's not integrated into his mag pouches like that picture. I think his is made by bladetech. I do agree though that for patrol that probably will be a little uncomfortable. I would suggest maybe the bladetech single mag holder and then maybe a small chest rig for your other mags.

Jul 6, 2020 · I use the Midway AR 15 Magazine case. I store 7 or 8 BX 25 mags in it, and just as importantly in high volume prairie dog shooting, two of the Butler Creek mag loaders. On a hot dog town you need an efficient way to reload those mags as well.

The early USAF 2-cell 20 round mag pouches came in 2 distinct versions. One was highly rubberized and the other was not.
