Which one is best for you is often a matter of aesthetic requirements and plumbing preferences. The implication is that APS has a CAI solution that works with one or more of their intercoolers.

Jul 5, 2014 · No clue on the FMIC. The WRX STi intercooler is basically a bolt-on operation. You need a different lower duct (readily available) or else it won't line up with the turbo output.

Allow around five to eight hours for install time. Professional installation, depending on your area, is around $400. Shadetree mechanics will install for around $100.

Dec 21, 2003 · APS is simply the best FMIC on the market. And a LOT better/easier to install than the Greddy. With the Greddy FMIC you have to take a torch to your stock bumper beam.

Nov 19, 2008 · If you go FMIC and have the APS 65mm, go with the APS FMIC. I like the Perrin FMIC the best and it will fit with the APS CAI, but its very snug and I'm not sure it'll work in every case just yet to recommend it with the APS CAI.

Jan 29, 2004 · OOOH! The butt dyno! Mylo installed the Blitz SUS and noticed a good power gain. What do they give 5-7 WHP? The I/C will most assuredly give more power than that. Mylo's plans for this car far exceed needing to tune it with just a FMIC.
