Feb 15, 2025 · A MP5SD is like 12 inches long, and a pretty good diameter- is there any suppressor like that for the AP5? The ability to swap barrels and get the B&T suppressor is cool, but the ability to run it with the standard barrel with out a suppressor, and just use 147subs- and have a tailored suppressor I think would be even better.

Oct 10, 2024 · Both my AP5, & AP5-P needed no site adjustment right out of the box. I just saw a MAC at the local gun show. Looked like it was sprayed with shiny rattle can black paint. Mag fit nice. Welds looked OK, but MKE looked better. GARY

But, the factory mac5k selector did not fit in the ap5. Feb 2, 2025 · Overall length is (I think) 30” with A2 stock. Fun is not designed to be fired without the suppressor. The MKE AP5-SD has a “K” barrel with threads and a tri-lug for use with a standard suppressor. Some vendors are offering to press out the “K” barrel and press in a true SD barrel whether that is B&T or RCM or HK.

Aug 30, 2022 · I don't have an earlier MKE import to compare with, so take it with a grain of salt, but this is a recent import AP5 vs a recent import SP5. Biggest differences I saw as far as fittings were the knurling style on the rear sight drum, rear sight fitting, magazine latch fitting, handguard retainer fitting, and the front cocking tube cap thickness.

Feb 15, 2024 · No. Your AP5 likely has a SEF style semi-auto trigger pack. You’d need a semi-auto 0,1 ambidextrous trigger pack to use that trigger housing. Also, you don’t need that lock-out selector set. There are semi-auto ambidextrous 2 position safety selectors available.

Jan 11, 2025 · I just returned to this site after twelve years away from the MP5 weapon family but I recently purchased a Century AP5 LT from Atlantic Firearms. It is full-sized, with 1/2-28 threaded 8.8" barrel,does not have the tri-lug barrel but at $849, who cares as I don't use tri-lug devices . I'll know Tuesday, after it arrives, if I chose correctly. 😉
