Nov 9, 2013 · I ordered an ap2 714 6 iron with the c-taper lite x stiff shaft to try. I'll be comparing with my x forged 6 iron with the pxi 6.0 shaft. I think the ap2 714 will have a pretty tough time beating out my x forged since the x forged has a little higher bounce and I think that it works a little better for my swing.

Dec 1, 2021 · The 714 look very big in comparison and I can see why the new models aren’t as appealing to many AP2 players. In fact I really think they made a mistake with the line. The new t100 line should have been something entirely different and AP2 should’ve remained. The new t200 is more what the 714 was. But I digress. Distance isn’t everything.

The 714 leading edge works much better for my steep attack angle. 712 dug way too much, and 714 clips ground and bounces right off with a perfect divot every time. Jan 20, 2014 · I hit the 714 AP2 at an outdoor demo day after gaming a set of 712 AP2 since they came out & liked the 714 enough to sell my 712 & buy the 714 - thanks to Discount Dans very good price on the 714 After getting the 714, I hit them a few times & gamed them once - they are not bad irons but just weren't for me.

Jul 29, 2018 · The 718 look more like the 714 and the original Ap2 and that isn't a bad thing . The 716 look like the Ap2 models in between the others Titleist is just staggering designs. I will get a set of the 718 Ap2 or a set of 716 CB when these 716Ap2 wear out .
