Aug 22, 2020 · I have always wanted a Vityaz/KP9 and have been waiting on a good deal to hop on. So I did it. More to the truth my wife did it. I have a KP9 with the triangle side folding brace on the way for a wedding anniversary gift. Boss-lady is a keeper, lol. Once I get familiar with it, it will go into my HD and vehicle weapon rotation.

Apr 22, 2021 · I'm going to have to disagree with y'all and go with the AKV over the KP9. The only real benefit that I see the KP9 having is authenticity. The AKV was built more for performance and cost. The availability and price of magazines is a plus also if KUSA ever discontinues the KP9 or goes under mag availability will be a serious problem.

Dec 22, 2022 · Got a new KP9 at my gunstore. First AK I have purchased. My gunstore put an ALG1 trigger, charging handle, handguard, and buffer on it new—shop run by guys who use AKs. 4 different mags, 3 different types of quality 9mm. Most I can get it to shoot is 7 rounds. I’d say it’s shortstroking and it’s dumping casings into the trigger group.

Jan 18, 2020 · I love the KP9 with the triangle brace. The braced version is pretty rad - much more so than the KR9, in my opinion. I have an Aimpoint T-1, mag coupler, krebs safety on my KP9. I am thinking about the Ultimak rail too as a mounting option for a light. I don't want a railed lower handguard so it seems appropriate.

Oct 2, 2019 · I bought Russian Vityaz magazines from Russia and tried them in the KP9. They don't work unless you shave off material near the locking lug. Just a heads up in case you buy some too. Mine suppressed well with the right ammo.
