Nov 16, 2011 · AEV Wheels used to made in the USA, but here is the deal on why virtually every wheel you'll find is made in China. About 6-7 years ago China's govt offered a 17% subsidy to the cast aluminum wheel market which meant that not only was the labor virtually free compared to the US companies, but the govt was knocking 17% off the top of the quotes.

Jan 1, 2010 · Does anyone know if the center caps on the AEV Pintler Wheels come off? Also, would the Jeep logo center caps from the Factory Rubicon wheels fit on the AEV wheels? I really like the AEV wheels but I much prefer the Jeep center cap.

Nov 26, 2011 · Actually JK wheels are hubcentric, not lugcentric. Mounting wheels isn't an issue confused:, not sure what that has to do with the price of tea in china). Hubcentric wheels take the pressure of the lugs, which if you wheel will take the strain off your lugs. It is a personal preference.
