The Dodge Viper (SR II) is the second-generation Dodge Viper sports car, manufactured by American automobile manufacturer Dodge. Two versions of the Viper were produced during the second generation.

The second generation of Dodge Viper was introduced for the 1996 model year. Known as the SR II, the second generation Viper shared many components with the previous generation, including the powerful 8.0L V10 engine.

Introduced for the Second Generation Viper, the ACR gained improvements to the airflow system adding an additional 10hp, as well as a new race ready suspension. In order to lighten the car, things such as the air conditioning, radio, and fog lights were removed.
