As pups, detector dogs need lots of nurturing and socialisation. This is why we need people to foster them. From 9 weeks of age, pups stay with their foster carer for about 12 months.

We train detector dogs to find prohibited and restricted goods. They can screen people, products and large areas quickly, without discrimination or intrusion. Other government law enforcement agencies also use our detector dogs.
