Jan 1, 2025 · Hello everyone, I own a HP Envy 6020e and a HP Officejet 2830. Lately when I try to print using the HP app, the paper size keeps defaulting to ISO A4 instead of Letter and when the page prints, it's blank. I checked the ink cartridges and they seem to be okay. I've inplugged both printers and let sit for half an hour and that didn't fix it.

May 30, 2013 · All our printers are configured to A4 standard, and problem is that if a program sends a print job in Letter format, the printer stops and asks if the user wants to print anyway. On all our other printers, Like a CP4525n I have an option called "OVERWRITE Letter/A4" which makes the device print a job in Letter format, out on a A¤ size paper.

Jul 6, 2015 · In here I changed the default paper from Letter to A4 in several places and it worked. I did try other things first (Printer Preferences, etc) but those didn't stick. Control Panel > Devices and Printers > HP Universal Printing, - Choose Device Settings - Change all the paper settings from Letter to A4.

Dec 11, 2017 · Default settings for the printer are letter size in the Factory default en Eco Smart Settings. I only can save these under another name but the defaults remain Letter-size. It will take 2 steps to get to the real A4 paper size and it should not work that way.

Feb 3, 2012 · <select_option>A4</select_option> </case_default> </switch> everywhere, I was able to change all presets to A4 - expect the 'Factory Defaults', which insist on always reverting to Letter. So I have deleted that preset (PresetPool:0) from the registry and now have a, hopefully permanently, letter-free setup. But boy, was this stupid.

May 19, 2022 · Whenever I scan using the flatbed, the scanner always scans A4 letter size. I'd prefer it to scan letter size. Is there a way to set letter as the paper size default? Thanks!
