Metrobus 8110 entered service with guide wheels ahead of the front axle to be used on the experimental guided busway section of route 65 for what was then known as Tracline 65.

Travel West Midlands MCW Metrobus Mk II 2970 A110 WVP heads out of Coventry Bus Station on 02.12.98 on route to Warwick University. I never liked this station after it had been rebuilt. 2970 was new as 8110 for the Tracline 65 operation and re-numbered 2970 when it disbanded.
