The London and North Eastern Railway Gresley Classes A1 and A3 were 4-6-2 "Pacific" steam locomotives designed by Nigel Gresley for passenger work. They were initially intended for use on the Great Northern Railway (GNR), but became a standard design on the London and North Eastern Railway after the amalgamation of 1923.

Hornby sell ready-to-run OO gauge (4mm scale) models of both the A1 and A3. Their short-lived live steam OO gauge range also included a model of Flying Scotsman. Proscale, DJH, and SE Finecast all produce 4mm scale kits of the A1/A3. DJH sell all variants but only as limited runs.

The LNER adopted the GNR classification system by wheel arrangement, with the A-prefix indicating the most prestigious wheel arrangement. The GNR Class A1s remained Class A1 and the NER Pacifics were reclassified A2.
