Aug 8, 2010 · A 9mm NATO round is a 124g FMJ bullet with a specific amount of powder behind it. There is a milspec for it and you can read about it on the web. Everthing else is just 9mm "Luger" because Luger invented the round, but I've seen anything from 95g to 147g and there's +P and +P+ that specify how much powder pushes it out the barrel.

Apr 30, 2016 · 9mm MEN at SG Ammo. I was about to post the same question OP. Good price on it here. Was going to pick up some of the Win NATO stuff but Sam is out. Was wondering the same about this? I have shot a lot of the German 308 stuff but none of the 9mm.

Oct 13, 2024 · N320 is my preferred powder for 147 gr. suppressed 9mm. I've used N330 in that application as well. Either should work well for a 124 gr. bullet also. N340 is also popular for 147 subs but I haven't ever tried it. I'd stick with the slower powders for hotter 124 gr. loads, like if you want to approximate a 9mm NATO load.

New to 124gr 9mm...NATO or not? > Ammunition > AR15.COM
Jun 3, 2018 · I like the Winchester 9mm NATO product. It is spec’d at pretty much exactly where M882 should be. It runs great in all my 9mm pistols, too. I found that 115gr WWB was noticeably “milder” in my compact, polymer-frame Taurus PT111G2, but the NATO load wasn’t even noticeably “harsh” to shoot.

May 21, 2023 · Recently watched a YOUTUBE video with Hackathorn and Wilson. They mentioned that 9mm NATO is loaded above SAAMI specs, and is intended for submachine guns and loaded for all weather conditions. As such, it should not be used on a regular basis on your everyday 9mm handgun. I recently bought a case of 9mm NATO, now I …

Feb 20, 2025 · “The purpose is to burn up a large qty of 9mm SMG ammo that I have.” Do you have Glock 23 in 357 sig? The 357 sig is a 9mm magnum in reality I would look at a glock 23 with a 9mm conversion barrel to shoot the hot ammo you have.
Thoughts on 9mm NATO brass > Reloading - AR15.COM
Feb 26, 2013 · Why would a NATO-marked 9mm case "add" anything to the pressure of a load? The standard 9mm NATO load isn't even particularly hot to begin with. There is no real difference in GI 9mm brass and commercial brass except for the primer crimp. (The crimp is a hassle for some people, not others.)

Jan 12, 2025 · That tends to coincide with what I find good deals on, to include Winchester, Magtech, Blazer Brass, Fiocchi, and (more recently) Monarch Brass 115 gr FMJ, along with Blazer Brass and Winchester NATO 124 gr. I also make sure to fire at least one box (50) of 147 gr HST to test its performance with my preferred defensive round.
Using 9mm NATO and +P ammo in SIG P226 - AR15.COM
Feb 28, 2005 · A +P 9mm round runs at 38,500 PSI. The Nato round tested under the SAAMI system comes in at 40,000 PSI. SAAMI has never recognized +P+ ammunition. However, if it did, the 9mm NATO load would come in at +P+ pressure levels. We do in fact make +P and +P+ 9mm Ranger Duty loads. However, RA9T is not one of them. Sincerely, (Deleted) (Deleted)
