Case expansion and primer flow indicators on handgun cartridges are pretty much useless. By the time you see anything you're way up into the nuclear zone.

Apr 20, 2010 · They both use the same 9mm case. 9 Major (165pf) has more pressure than 9 minor (125pf), so you'll probably want a quality barrel that can handle 9 major loads safely.

Only advantage is that : .38 is more flexible on powder, but brass is more expensive (you can buy used 9mm brass more readily than .38 super brass).
