Anyway, it would have to be a '95 GTR because the development work for the CLK happened in early 1996 and I believe some of the first races they competed in were at the end of the '96 BPR season.

Apr 5, 2006 · Its a 96 GTR, I remember reading in Autosport way back, that Mercedes acquired the Deletraz/Giriox chassis making it 11R. Besides there is to many 96 spec components,to not make this a 95 GTR.

Mar 16, 2011 · I'm curious what the changes were between the 95 gtr and the 96 gtr, i always though the main difference was the different side skirts and the longer roof scoop but I've seen ones with the redesigned skirts and the shorter LM style roof scoop. can anyone help?
