The arc chamber ended up almost exactly were the filament of the H7 bulb was. It actually worked ok, much better than a pnp kit and was nice to use a OEM bulb rather than a hot running bulb from China. Cutoff and color were better than the H7 bulb too but I also installed a clear lens at the same time which had more to do with the cutoff.

The H13 is quite possibly the stupidest design for a bulb ever foisted on the public. Low performance at a high price. The terminals are so small that they overheat, even at stock wattages, and melt the plastic housing of the connectors. We Recommend replacing the connector with the ceramic unit listed below.

you can use a 3157 no problem, but like markus said its not really recommended. you are replacing a 500 lumen 3457 filament bulb with a 50 lumen led bulb (at best). there is no way it would be bright enough, especially not in a reflector designed around a filament bulb. the only led bulb i would really recommend is the elef-usa.com leds which use hi power luxeon and osram 3w and 5w leds with a ...
