Expand the SMART Program, which responds to the emotional and physical needs of first-responders and building trades members. Build HEART 9/11 chapters throughout regions that are most affected by natural or man-made disasters.

HEART 9/11 is deploying 30 skilled firefighters, law enforcement, and building trades members to Africatown, Alabama, the hometown of 1969 “Miracle Mets” team member Cleon Jones, to rebuild 8-12 homes in collaboration with his non-profit, The Last Out Community Foundation.

HEART 9/11’s (Healing Emergency Aid Response Team) mission is to Respond immediately to natural and man-made disasters; Rebuild community centers in hard-hit areas to meet grassroots needs; Recover by building resiliency for individuals, families, and communities.
