Mar 27, 2008 · The pm6 (d16a6, out of the 88-91 CRX/Civic Si) is one of the best Honda obd0 ecu's available. It's very tunable, is easily chipped, and is pretty darn cheap. My dash was hacked apart as well (I have an 88 with a 91 cluster), and was done all wrong.

And after a really hard day of driving last summer the car overheated, melted the timing belt cover, and eventually the lower half locked up mid stroke....It was a nasty engine death my best guess is that maybe one of the crankshaft bearings went bad...

Dec 18, 2013 · 2. the axles won't work as the HF has smaller hubs where the axle goes in - HF uses a 23 spline axle - the ones from the Del Sol have 26 splines - you could swap out the HF knuckles/hubs for ones from 88-91 Civic DX/LX/Si or 88-91 CRX DX/Si, which can get into quite a bit of time, if you haven't done it before
