Apr 2, 2015 · UPDATE on DX and HF 2nd gen production numbers. The VIN calculations are identical to the Si as far as check digit goes. I ran the serials in 500 increments until they failed to produce any carfax records for the DX. The HF numbers are exact like the Si's above.

Sep 20, 2006 · Usually the only difference in the models (4th gen crx's) is the 88 and 89 are different than the 90-91. I'm not really sure of all the things, but some small things would be the 88-89 have exterior screws on the front corner lights, and they have a boxier gauge cluster cover.
