The Boeing 737 is an American narrow-body aircraft produced by Boeing at its Renton factory in Washington. Developed to supplement the Boeing 727 on short and thin routes, the twinjet retained the 707 fuselage width and six abreast seating but with two underwing Pratt & Whitney JT8D low-bypass turbofan engines.

Its spacious cargo hold, with dimensions of 2994 x 317 x 214 cm and a large cargo door measuring 356 x 218cm, facilitates the easy transport of various cargo types. The aircraft’s range of 4,830km and cruising speed of 852 km/h ensure timely and reliable deliveries.

Many countries operate the 737 passenger, BBJ and cargo variants in government or military applications. Users with 737s include: Royal Australian Air Force uses two 737-700 BBJ VIP transports as well as six 737 AEW&C Wedgetails. [8] Chilean Air Force has 1 737-300, and 1 737-500. The Boeing 737F is a freighter conversion of the popular 737 passenger aircraft, available in -300, -400 and -800 variants. It is well suited to short and medium haul journeys, utilising a side loading door for the main hold and two further doors for smaller holds measuring 130cm x 122cm and 122cm x 122cm respectively.
