Seat selection on the flydubai site showed the lie-flat seating arrangement, but I couldn’t verify this on expertflyer or seatguru.

Jul 19, 2021 · Flying from BWI to LAX (RT) on October 1 (outbound) and October 3 (return) on a 737 MAX 9. The outbound will be economy class (L), guaranteed. For the return, I’m taking the red-eye, leaving at 11:00p and arriving 6:52a the next day (UA 1701). I have to work the next morning, so sleep is a priority. Economy ticket (both ways) is $473.

Jan 6, 2024 · The 737-900ER (and more recently MAX -9) have been in service with plugged exits for years without incident. I would sit in the window seat next to a plugged exit on any flight any day. Perhaps it might be wise to avoid this seat on a newer build MAX -9 for a bit until we have a good grasp of the root cause.
