However, 7A, 7B, and 7C have been replaced by a lavatory, so the proximity may not be desirable. The Exit Row. Like the 737-800, rows 15 and 20 do not recline, and exit rows 20 and 21 have extra legroom.

For the return, I’m taking the red-eye, leaving at 11:00p and arriving 6:52a the next day (UA 1701). I have to work the next morning, so sleep is a priority. Economy ticket (both ways) is $473.

Jan 6, 2024 · The 737-900ER (and more recently MAX -9) have been in service with plugged exits for years without incident. I would sit in the window seat next to a plugged exit on any flight any day. Perhaps it might be wise to avoid this seat on a newer build MAX -9 for a bit until we have a good grasp of the root cause.
