Apr 25, 2017 · We have both a 6 and 6.5 Creedmoor in custom actions in chassis setups. The barrel life of a 6.5 is a little better than a 6 but neither are anything like a .308. FWIW we got about 2,000 rounds on our last 6 Creed barrel, at 1800 rounds it was still shooting 1/3 MOA 5-shot groups at 300 yards.

My gun currently sports a .260 Rem barrel. Thought I'd try shooting super fast bullets out of my auto rifle and see how it fares...

Feb 17, 2014 · Copper Creek makes great ammo for the 6mm Creemoor and the 6.5 Creedmoor if you don't reload. I'd go with a Defiance Deviant action, Bartlein barrel, Manners T4A stock or Terry Cross Sentinel and get Vortex Razor 5-20 with EBR-3 reticle to put on top and go have fun.

Nov 21, 2022 · Common are 6BR, 6BRA, 6 Dasher, and 6GT. Many start with 6.5 Creedmoor and move to a 6mm. Those that do not reload tend to 6.5 Creedmoor and 6mm Creedmoor. 6XC and 6CM are less popular now as they use more powder and tend to have less barrel life (barrel life is a big deal for many including me).

Feb 6, 2020 · When choosing a caliber, be sure to understand that you will be shooting this round 80-100 times per match. Ensure it is a caliber that is right for the PRS scene, like 6mm Creedmor or 6.5mm Creedmor. There are ton of others, of course.
