Dec 13, 2024 · The 1963 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia is a testament to the fusion of German engineering and Italian design flair. This iconic car, born from the collaboration between Volkswagen and the coachbuilding expertise of Karmann, was further beautified by the Italian design house Ghia.

1963 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia with a rebuilt 1776, polished Empi 5 spokes, new headliner, fair interior (faded no tears), custom sound system, 2 year old paint job, all chrome trim, painted engine trim, Scat shifter etc.

Engine runs great and the car is a delightful, well sorted driver. 12 volt electrics and a mechanical advance distributor...otherwise pretty stock. Blue interior is a great choice for the silver car. Carpets still in nice shape. Dash is clean and un-cut. Seats and panels are excellent. Body is straight and smooth. Really a pretty car.
