Sep 22, 2024 · I've read above site before posting and tried latest HD 5450 driver from above location already. Same result. HD 4670 works fine with Windows supplied drivers but HD 5450 does not work with any. I don't need fast graphics, just plain office work with minimum power consumption, thus looking for older boards with no auxiliary power requirements.

Following this post I installed the legacy drivers for my HD 5450 (15.7.1 Catalyst, 16.2.1 Crimson, I tried both) and installation is reported as successful.

Jan 4, 2023 · I have a new dell with i7-12700 16.0 gb ram 64-bit with windows 11 pro version 22h2. I installed the radeon hd 5450 and installed the drivers. When I boot up with my monitor plugged into the hdmi port it comes up with vertical colored lines for a few seconds and then goes to a blank screen. When I try to update drivers it says I have the latest.
