Nov 26, 2019 · It sounds like a fault with your mouse I'm afraid. Do you have access to another computer - if you can try the mouse on another you'd know for sure it's the mouse and not the computer. You mention you'd cleaned your mouse recently - if water has gotten inside that would definitely cause the type of problems your are having. Regards, David

Dec 11, 2020 · If I use a different mouse, I do not get the same lagging or inconsistent responsiveness. Also, I have two of this mouse, and have problems with both of them. But if I connect a different mouse, I do not experience any issues. That is how I was able to figure out that it was specifically the Logitech Hero 502 mouse with my Windows 10.

Oct 28, 2024 · As per checking, the G502 X Plus is not compatible with the Xbox Series X console. Some brands have a compatible mouse for Xbox consoles such as Razer. As per Razer Support, "Razer mice will work with games that have allowed keyboard and mouse input. For these games, the Razer mice will work with the basic functions."

Try to use and old Mouse driver -Press Windows key + X -Go to Device Manager -Expand the Mice and other pointing device. -Look for Mouse driver that was installed -Right click and Update -Look for "Browse my computer for driver -Let me pick drivers available drivers -Choose an old driver and use it. The mouse is still good, as is the USB port, because I can boot up into the BIOS and use the mouse, no problem. As soon as I boot into Windows, the mouse stops working. It was working for months, on just a generic Windows driver, until today. My device is listed in DM below. I have downloaded the latest drivers from Logitech.

The issue does not occur when the mouse is plugged in directly to my Surface Laptop 3. The mouse still has power and nothing changes in the device manager. It's just like the laptop doesn't get position information from the mouse for a few seconds. I don't think the mouse is failing.
