Oct 29, 2004 · It looks similar to what Mercedes have as their factory tint, the blue color. It blocks nearly 50% of heat and rejects 99% of UV rays, very similar to what a black limo tint can do. Also it's ceramic, so no interference issues. I get it installed Thursday, can't wait and I will post pics.

May 12, 2013 · I know this is a MK6 forum, but if you're going to go dark with tint, don't half-azz it. 5% on the sides and 50% on the windshield. So far I've owned the car 15 months and driven 38,000 miles and I've never been pulled over. I was a bit hesitant using Viper tint, but so far it seems to be holding up well.

Feb 27, 2006 · I just got 32% on the sides and 22% on my back window. I got it installed at the best place here in Southern Cali. The guy would probably scrape my front windows off and redo the job after the court date if I ever did indeed get pulled over. My FM reception is pretty good. My tint dealer used Solar Guard brand tint and it seems great to me.

Jul 30, 2015 · Yeah, I saw that one. Looks awesome and about the same price as tint. I hate to admit but I'm going the pricey route. I'm getting my windows tinted at 50% so it's very light and then get that sunshades. Based on my experience, I really like the dark tint in the summer but hate it in the winter (I can't see - too dark).
