Jun 20, 2014 · The mission of the 45th Logistics Readiness Squadron is to execute expeditionary operations for the 45th Space Wing and its mission partners by providing launch and range customers with full spectrum logistics.

The 45th Logistics Readiness Flight provides supply, fuel, transportation and deployment support to the 45th Space Wing as well as tenant organizations for Patrick Air Force Base, Cape Canaveral Air Station and down range sites (Antigua and Ascension Island).

Behind the scenes is the 45th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) Logistics Plans Office (LPO), who plays a crucial role in making sure everything goes smoothly for all deployments out of Space Launch Delta 45 (SLD 45).

SLD 45 supported the launch of Starlink 6-80 in the afternoon and the crewed launch of FRAM2 in the evening. SLD 45 tested their skills responding to simulated incidents during the Guardian Shield exercise at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Patrick Space Force Base.

The 45th Space Delta is responsible for all space launch operations from the East Coast. It manages the Eastern Range , including launch activities for the Space Force, Department of Defense (DoD), NASA , and other private space corporations.
